Tennessee Schools for the Deaf has been named as one of twelve schools in the state of Tennessee to be awarded Exemplary designation by Tennessee Department of Education.

Tennessee School for the Deaf, Knoxville, Tennessee provides a welcoming and inclusive learning environment for deaf and hard of hearing children beginning with our Toddler Learning Class through 12th grade. In addition, TSD Knoxville is home to the Comprehensive Adult Program (CAP). TSD Knoxville has both a residential program and day-students who attend the school.
