ASL classes for TSD parents and families will begin March 22nd! Classes are currently virtual. ASL classes are also open to families enrolled in the Deaf Mentor & Parent Advisor Program and TSD Toddler Learning Class. For questions please contact ASL Services, [email protected]. Congratulations to WTSD for being selected as a Model of Demonstration (MOD) School—Bronze Level for Response to Instruction and Intervention for Behavior (RTI2-B)! This recognition is based on the school’s partnership with the Tennessee Behavior Supports Project during the 2020-2021 school year. MOD Schools, like WTSD, are implementing RTI2-B with high fidelity and have applied this framework to improve their school climate and culture, student engagement, and school connectedness.

The TN Deaf Mentor / Parent Advisor Program will be hosting a Shared Reading Project workshop for families with Deaf/Hard of Hearing children ages 0-5 on March 6th. Register in advance using the link provided in the flyer. We hope to see you there!
